Is your name Sema or Nassim?

My name is Nassim. Sema is a nickname I went by for years. Old friends can still call me Sema - but I do prefer Nassim.

Where are you located?

I’ve been living and working in New York since 2021. I tattoo in a worker owned, street level, private studio in Brooklyn called Flower World. I travel frequently! If you want me to come to where you live, just email me with your city in the subject.

What’s the difference between flash and custom?

Flash is any design that I’ve pre-drawn. I sometimes upload photos to instagram, but I have three full flash books at the shop to choose from when you come in for a flash appointment.
I’m very flexible with flash and don’t mind making small changes on the spot. Flash can be done in color or black and grey and almost any size.

Custom work is any tattoo that I draw just for you. If you have an idea please send it to me! I draw custom appointments for the day of your appointment. There is plenty of time for us to make any changes when you come in. I always want to make sure you are 100% happy with the design before we start, but I’ve found that talking over changes in person (rather than over email) is so much more helpful.

How long have you been tattooing?

I started tattooing professionally in 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.

What is your pricing?

I charge roughly $200 an hour, but am always happy to work with people’s budgets.

If you have a budget, please let me know beforehand. Sometimes if a budget is much lower than what I would charge hourly, we can implement a payment plan or break the tattoo into sessions.

I try to be as transparent as possible with pricing.

Cash is always best! And tipping is always appreciated.
